Corrosion Resistant Filling & Capping Machines |
|
Inline Filling Systems designs and
builds corrosion resistant fillers and cappers for harsh factory
environments or where the product being filled is particularly
aggressive on machinery. This includes not only chemical plants plants
producing strong acids or bleach but also food plants using brine or
sugar solutions in their products. In both cases, even the factory
air alone contributes to the accelerated degradation of the machinery. |

About
Corrosion Resistant Systems:
Inline Filling Systems uses special coatings on structural and other
exposed machinery components as well as chemical resistant plastics as a
substitute for metal whenever practical. Special powder and industrial
polymer coatings, UHMW and Teflon plastics, and other materials are used
on our
manufacturing process. Photos below show examples of conveyors, filling
and capping machines constructed with these techniques.

Powder
Coated Sub-Frames
This capper drive system
alluminum subframe has been powder coated to increase resistance to
corrosion in a brine filling operation. |
 |
Rubber Coated
Structural Frames
All stainless
structural components on this filling machine have been coated
with an industrial polymer coating for protection in an acid
filling operation. |
 |
Plastic Conveyor
Construction
Conveyor side
frames in a bleach plant have been fabricated from plastic; all
stainless components are enclosed and sealed with silicone. |

Specialty Fluid
Path Engineering
Kynar and Teflon
fluid path materials used in the components in this filling
machine were specifically chosen for their excellent
resistance to the aggressive properties of bleach.
