Who We Are
Inline Filling Systems is a USA manufacturer who has been in business for 20 years with 18 of them dedicated to manufacturing intelligent, elegantly designed and high quality liquid packaging machinery. Not only is Inline Filling Systems recognized as the market leader in the performance and design of liquid filling machines by end users but also by other major USA equipment manufacturers who also buy our machinery for integration into their own product lines. All of our machinery is designed, fabricated and supported by us in our Florida, USA facility. Our machinery electrical systems are offered as UL listed for both the USA and Canada. We also specialize ONLY in liquid filling lines and do not dilute our effort or focus by selling unrelated third party packaging equipment. Although IFS manufactures almost everything we sell, any third party equipment we do offer to complete a liquid packaging line is exclusively made by our Business Partners. These companies are also top tier USA companies whose quality products are manufactured in the USA. We will never offer our customers any foreign equipiment because the risk of poor support or parts availability is unacceptably high. Please note also that we never sell used machinery as we believe this practice would compromise our commitment to quality and guarantee for fitness of purpose.
Our Philosophy about Machine Design
We decided from the very start that we would build the best quality machinery with the finest materials and most reliable components we could find in the USA. We chose this design philosophy without knowing if the marketplace could afford this simple focus on quality alone. We were pleased to learn that despite our uncompromising focus on quality, our machinery remains very competitively priced. This “quality only” machine design philosophy is an extension of the customers we wish to serve; customers that are like us…confident, goal-oriented people who recognize the link between having the best quality tools for the job and being economically successful. This is the American way.
A Word About Imported Equipment
We get calls every day from people who want to know if our machines are made in China or other low value – low quality producing countries. There are many high visibility foreign companies and even some US based equipment suppliers on the Internet that import cheaply made and poorly designed equipment from these countries including countries that are unfriendly to the United States. Much of this equipment does not have UL electrical certification and their installation may be banned by local municipal or state regulations. IFS does not sell any equipment made by these firms. Moreover, we will not even knowingly use components that are made in these countries.
To be fair, we have taken pains to physically evaluate much of this imported equipment that has been represented as “same as US-made quality”. In our opinion, the quality is very poor, unreliable and will alienate the type of customers we want to serve and retain for the long term. Savvy professionals know to avoid cheap imported machinery when their livelyhood or careers depend on it. If you are already a victim of non performing machinery whose origin you are concerned about, let us know and we will help identify where it is made and offer more realistic solutions to help your business.
Experience, Experience, Experience
Like the real estate mantra “location, location, location”, there is one major factor that determines if you made the right machinery supplier decision or not : EXPERIENCE. The depth of our applications experience comes from decades of hard work and honesty. We are also the only straight line filling machine manufacturer in North America that has direct contract packaging experience using our own machinery for profit! (Click here to see Food & Drug Magazine article.) In doing this, we learned what our customers’ real needs are in order to function efficiently and reliably everyday. We have built and tested machinery for almost every liquid filling application in industry; our industry experience adds immediate results and is highly valued by both new start up companies as well as existing IFS customers that have been using our equipment for decades. (Please click here to see many examples of complete filling lines we have built over the years.)
Why Do Business with Inline Filling Systems? Our slogan is “Intelligence in Design – Integrity in Business – Investment in Service. Our two decades of stable operations and continuity of key technical and manufacturing personnel has afforded us the ability to manage growth, ensure quality, and protect our reputation as a trusted business partner in packaging through refinement of our machinery designs. Our wealth of applications expertise learned over many years is so clearly visible in our design.
Integrity in business is a fleeting idea for suppliers who can’t keep performance promises. Inline Filling Systems makes it very plain that when you buy a machine manufactured by us, you are getting something that is unconditionally “fit for the purpose” it was intended. (see our Terms & Conditions as proof) Broken promises by machinery suppliers end up in lawsuits and can be company or career killers. In 20 years of business operations, not one person, vendor or customer has ever filed or threatened a lawsuit against us. Like our simple design philosophy, our business ethics philosophy is also simple: “Do what you say you will do.”
Our investment in service surpasses any of our competitors. Where other suppliers have trimmed their services, IFS has expanded ours. Real evidence of this is the fact that our most senior design engineer with all of the applications knowledge learned over the past 17 years is our head of technical service and support. We deliberately put our best technical resource in charge of supporting our growing, loyal customer base. We have also established service locations in the Northeast, Midwest and on the West Coast. The number of technicians we have available to serve our installed base is greater than any of our competitors.
Do Your Due Diligence Before You Buy!
We think it is important for you to know the company you are buying from. A low priced supplier might be the beginning of the biggest mistake of your life or career. So, do your homework before you invest. Here is our advice:
Visit the factories personally and compare their organizations, facilities, resources and product quality. Witness factory acceptance testing for other customers at the plant. (If there isn’t much going on at that plant, that might tell you something.) Get references from customers who have had the equipment running products highly similar to yours for more than 5 years. Ask these customers what their customer service experience has been. Check Dun and Bradstreet for credit problems and any history of liens and lawsuits against that supplier. Ask the supplier if they are selling you foreign or Chinese made equipment!
We are confident that if you are careful in your selection process that Inline Filling Systems will be your most prudent consideration.
