Handheld Cap Tightener |
|
Pneumatic unit provides torque to caps on bottles. The operator places
and starts caps on bottles; after pressing the unit down on the cap the
operator activates the unit while holding down the container. Handheld capper
provides relief from blisters, fatigue and potential carpal tunnel
damage associated with overworking the hands and wrists. |

The handheld cap tightener is the
most basic labor saving cap tightening device. However, it has a
limitation of torque repeatability due to dependence on the operator to
press down on the cap with the same force each time. As the operator
becomes fatigued from this action, there is the risk that torque will
vary with each cycle. To avoid this potential problem altogether,
we recommend the following economic alternative options. |
|
Benchtop Cap
Tightener
Unlike the basic handheld tightener, this unit is
fixture-mounted to a piston that places a constant and repeatable
downward pressure on the target cap. This allows the operator to apply a
more precise degree of torque. The operator uses only a footswitch to
initiate the cycle. |

Upgraded Benchtop Cap Tightener
This unit is the same as benchtop unit above but detection
and control of the bottle is entirely automatic. The operator merely
places the cap on the container; the machine does the rest. Higher
speeds (up to 40 cpm) are attainable with this machine. |
