Monoblock Fill Cap & Plug Systems

Automatic monoblock fill cap plug systems are typically small footprint platforms designed to handle small or inherently unstable containers that cannot be practically filled and closed on intermittent straight line packaging systems. Small precise fills, and vertical placement of very small plugs and or closures, as well as precise application torque is accomplished on this platform.using specific bottle handling changeparts like the timing screw and starwheels shown below. These platforms are also typically installed in clean room environments where space is at a premium.



Other monoblock systems can be large special function platforms for larger containers with unstable handling characteristics or with specific controlled atmosphere requirements. An example of this is laminar flow, hepa filtered enclosures built to isolate containers filled with high purity products.



Standard Features:

-Small systems designed to reliably fill, plug and cap up to 30 CPM.
-Completely integrated system on a unitized rigid tubular 304 stainless frame.
-Safety interlocked plexiglass enclosure with stainless framed guard doors.
-Cam indexing star wheel for proven accurate and low maintenance container positioning
-Integrated Servo Peristaltic pump dispensing system for high accuracy and drip free liquid filling operation.
-Integrated plugging station with simple push through seating and independent vibratory sorting system.
-Integrated pick and place capping system with pneumatically operated chuck and independent vibratory sorter.-
-Cap torque adjustable by spring loaded positive release clutch; no tools required.
-Non-scuff chucks for gentle, positive grip
-Easy changeover modular change parts for both container and closure handling
-All motions pneumatic driven and PLC controlled.
-Complete sensor suite verifies presence of all containers, plugs and caps at each working station and verifies successful completion of each mechanical event via upstream and downstream handshakes.
